Transportation provided between the Itabashi Culture Hall and Asashio Boat Pier. Join with your friends and colleagues at the ISOT 2016, Itabashi Tokyo, Banquet. The evening will feature a delicious dinner and a complimentary drink on Yakatabune. (A banquet ticket for student is NOT included with registration fee)

Special session1: Spectral imaging technology

Abstract: Spectral imaging is used in many fields of research and industry, from biomedical imaging to remote sensing, forensics to optical metrology, and more. This special session gathers together the latest research in spectral imaging technology --- advances in instrumentation, new techniques for utilizing spectral imaging data, and development of spectral imaging applications --- with an emphasis on instrumentation to bridge optomechatronics with data analysis and applications-related spectral imaging research.

Special session2: Polarization technology

Abstract : Polarization technology has become an important area in the field of optomechatronics, especially in ellipsometry, polarimetry, polarization interferometry, display technology, optical data storage, semiconductor technology, nano-material research, and bio-technology. This special session highlights reviews by invited speakers and the latest results in polarization technology and related technologies, including ellipsometry, polarization measurements and polarization technology-based optical sensing. This session is expected to provide open discussion between optomechatronics and polarization researchers.
